Professional History
Dr. Bane trained in general surgery in New York at NYU and Bellevue Hospitals. He then served in the U.S. Navy as a flight surgeon and then trained and served as an Otolaryngologist in San Diego and later Pensacola Florida. Dr Bane left the Navy in Pensacola in 1994 and entered private practice. He moved to Virginia and joined Dr. Ferlazzo in 1997.
Dr. Bane has been on staff at Potomac Hospital since 1997. He has served as chairman of the operating Room committee since 1999. He as also served as ENT Section Chief and on the Medical Executive Committee.

Personal Information
Dr. Bane is married, has two sons, two stepsons and one grandson. He enjoys scuba diving and running.
Jill A. Young, Au.D.
Location: Woodbridge office
Jill Young is a Doctor of Audiology who received her degree from Gallaudet University in 2003. She is a life-long user of hearing devices and she has been performing comprehensive hearing evaluations, while recommending and fitting hearing devices. Dr. Young is a fellow of the Amercian Academy of Audiology and is Board Certified to practice audiology. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking, reading and traveling.
